Hi, I'm Jill, the photographer behind JLauraPhotography.
My photography journey began in 2018 when I picked up a camera and started capturing anything and everything that inspired me. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for preserving life's most meaningful moments.
One of the things I love most about photography is how much it has shaped me as a person. It has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, helped me become more outgoing and confident, and allowed me to connect with incredible people from all walks of life. Through photography, I've learned that some of the most rewarding experiences come from stepping into new situations and embracing the stories of others.
Over the years, l've had the privilege of capturing engagements, proposals, weddings, maternity sessions, family milestones, and so much more.
As a preschool teacher, working with children and families comes naturally to me, and I love creating an experience that feels relaxed, genuine, and fun for evervone involved.
Some of my favorite moments are watching families grow through the years, photographing a maternity session, then meeting that little one during a newborn session, and later capturing family photos as they continue to grow. Being trusted to document these milestones is something I never take for granted.
Photography is about more than beautiful images. It's about preserving memories, celebrating relationships, and telling stories that can be cherished for generations. My goal is to create photographs that not only look beautiful but also bring you back to the emotions and moments that made them special.
